Some landscapes just need a full reset - not a replant, not a redesign. Just a solid cleanout, sharp trimming, a defined edge, and fresh mulch. That's exactly what we tackled here, and the difference is night and day.
We started with a thorough bed cleanout to clear out all the built-up debris and old mulch that was breaking down. Once the beds were clean, we got into the shrub trimming. Boxwoods shaped into tight, clean spheres. Evergreens brought back to a structured form. Every plant got attention so nothing looked forgotten or out of place.
The cobblestone edging is one of those details that ties everything together. It creates a clear, durable boundary between the lawn and the beds - no more mulch migrating onto the grass, no blurry lines where the bed ends. It also gives the whole front yard a finished, intentional look that holds up over time.
Then came the brown mulch - laid thick and even across every bed. Fresh mulch does more than just look good. It holds moisture, keeps weeds down, and gives the soil a layer of protection. A deep, consistent layer like this makes the whole landscape easier to maintain going forward.
This is the kind of work that doesn't require a full redesign to make a big impact. A proper cleanout, some careful trimming, good edging, and quality mulch installation can pull a landscape back together and keep it looking sharp with a lot less effort.
